The cheaper models will have a basic foot pump, whereas some more expensive models will have a plug-in pump for inflation. The inflatable twin mattresses will come with a handy carrying/storage bag or case as well.

Spring Twin Size Mattress: These types of mattresses are the most popular and probably the type that most of us have experienced at one time or another. So you want to make sure the firmness is well researched before you buy. Not to mention you want to know what your preferences are! Some have a pillow top design that gives them extra comfort. A box spring may come with the twin mattress set, along with a small frame, or maybe it is just the mattress itself.

Twin Size Mattress Packaging: You’ll want to be careful when unpacking the mattress! It’s always kind of interesting to get the twin mattress shipped to you in such a small box. You open it and it’s wrapped up, vacuum packed, like a tiny blanket or something. Then when you open it, it springs open with an in-rush of air and flops open. Just be careful and open it in an open space in your house. You’ll need to allow a few minutes to a few hours for the mattress to fully expand to it’s normal size. Packaging will have it compressed to a smaller size for a time.
